Others might provoke you or create conditions to disturb you; they might challenge you or test you or say or do something so that you could hardly keep your peace. That is where your peace is proven. Unfortunately, there are very few who keep their peace under all circumstances. If you truly have peace you will not allow it to be disturbed at any cost. Not a single exception can be justified that can break your peace. Once you have tasted it—it is such a sweet fruit—you will not give it up for anything. Therefore I do not want peace on my terms; I want peace as peace and whatever disturbs it, I don’t want.
If everyone wants to take and not give, peace will be disturbed. How many are givers, who are patient, tolerant and respectful, giving to others in love and peace and contributing to their wellbeing? Peace movements, slogans, festoons and processions do not bring peace. We have to be the embodiment of peace; otherwise we end up fighting among ourselves. The world would have peace in one year if we go the right way.

Teaching from the basis of eternal Truth, the message of Swami Amar Jyoti's Satsangs (Sanskrit: communion with Truth) is one of deep spiritual unity.  His way is not to espouse a particular creed but to impart a spiritual way of life.   He spent four decades (from 1961-2001) awakening and uplifting countless souls around the world to God-consciousness and disseminating the timeless Truth underlying all traditions and faiths.  Prabhushri Swamiji authored several books; over seven hundred of His oral discourses, illuminating the classical path for modern times, are available on CD and audiocassette.
