SIMPLY PRAY LIKE A CHILD TO THE DIVINE MOTHER. THAT DOESN’T SEPARATE
US FROM
DIVINE FATHER. ON THE CONTRARY, IT JOINS BOTH TOGETHER.
SIMPLE HEART-FELT, HUMBLE PRAYER WILL DO WITH MOTHER.

ALL THIS COMES FROM WITHIN. You are simply recognizing Her by worship, by being humble, by praying to Her, “Mother, give me truth. Show me Light. Give me grace. Give me right understanding. Give me right actions. Let me not hate anyone. Let me not harm anyone. Help me that I may avoid obstacles and difficulties.” And She listens and does somehow. Try it. Just pray in a genuine, humble way to whichever form of Divine Mother you visualize.
If you are in astral body, floating around as vibratory phenomena, Mother will be a dazzling ethereal body shining resplendently. The higher you go in evolution—when you become a ball of Light, She’s the Light-full aspect too. But when you are on the physical plane, She is a physical Mother for you. Therefore She is real, as real as you and I are. And what are you? Who is that making you move, work, act, talk and sleep? That is Divine Mother. That is shakti. And when you become the embodiment of shakti, even if your physical body would not be there, you will be pulsating energy only and still be a being. And then Divine Mother is correspondingly communicating in that form with very high, very dazzling powers.

T
HEN YOU WILL UNDERSTAND THE SUN and the sunshine, what great power it is—giving life to so many planets. One being, the sun! And that’s Mother! Geologically you may analyze any way you like, but spiritually it is quite different. Then you will see all the phenomena of the moon and the sun and the other planets, how this sun is giving life to our physical bodies, to our pranas, our vital force. It gives us strength to live. And you will see Divine Mother in that pulsating great energy. The seekers, the sadhaks pray to Divine Mother, “Show me Your true form, Mother.” And once you reach one form, She is beyond that again. And again you seek Her; go on searching. It is never-ending—so many billions of suns and universes. The whole universe or universes can be one Divine Mother.

Go on raising your consciousness; there is no end. You may find one form or one particular strength or shakti and be satisfied that this is Divine Mother, but if you really ask Her, “Mother, show me Your true form, what You are,” it is indescribable. When She manifests in Her own true form, Her true glory, it is indescribable. So much so that in great hymns they have sung to the Goddess, “You are my Brahman.” She can be as great as the Absolute. It is a non-ending search until you come to that Supreme Source of your Purusha and prakriti, nature and its Source. There you will find Oneness.
Vedanta certainly reaches you to nondualism, but again it also teaches you to come back to dualism. Everything you see is the same. You are recognizing Divine Mother. And that gives you shakti, which we need to avoid weaknesses, which create sins and selfishness, deficiencies, incapacities, all kinds of imperfections. Without shakti you cannot be perfect. There is a prayer to Her: “Mother, make me perfect.”
Simply pray with genuine devotion and humility: “Mother, give me strength. Make me virtuous. Give me truth. Give me eyes to see properly. Give me righteous thinking and right actions. Let me not hurt anyone. Let me not be willful. Let me not just go on stupidly working around in my ego.” And see how She does it! It is amazing that without your knowing the science and technique of it She will do it for you.
Simply pray like a child to the Divine Mother. That doesn’t separate us from Divine Father. On the contrary, it joins both together. Simple heartfelt, humble prayer will do with Mother. She gets satisfied, because She is so much with us—inseparable. I could not meditate properly if I did not have energy. I could not do virtuous works and noble acts without having strength. I could not give oratory to you without having sufficient strength and energy. I could not accomplish things in the world, even materially, if I did not have strength to do it. That is shakti, without which nothing moves or acts, whether it is spiritual or material. Therefore those who are weak are the ones to be afraid of because they can do any sins possible; they have no strength to lift themselves up to do virtuous and noble deeds. They cannot even think or concentrate; they cannot hang on to an idea out of weakness.
