No part of our mind is isolated enough not to deal with other aspects of our mind. When you are approaching one aspect of your mind, the Supreme is bound to open other aspects. They are interrelated. You cannot say, “God, I just came here to ask You such and such boon.” He will ask you connected questions. And that is where you hide; you don’t want to be touched. On one side, it’s scary to be exposed. But see the beauty: even that very moment when Divine Mother is exposing you or questioning you, She is giving you an opportunity to clean up and get rid of those things you are hiding. If She is not forcing you, it is only because you don’t want it, not because She doesn’t want to help you. Could She not still force you then? Yes, but why should She? It is your problem, not Hers. She will not force you to change. In Her Divine creation, She is perfectly fine. She allows us to be foolish. This is the benevolence of Divine Mother.

E DO NOT SEE THAT WE ARE PUPPETS SIMPLY. Someone else is running the whole show. It is all illusion, no doubt about it, but again within this illusion, there is Light. If you could just be awakened and conscious, all your problems would be over. Divine Mother is really very benevolent. She is Karuna-mayi, the Compassionate One. She is Jyotir-mayi, full of Light. She is Tejo-mayi, Radiant. She is so available to all, if we can just be Her children. And the greatest part is that in no time, with this attitude of a child, She erases all our dross, sins, infirmities and incapacities. If I had not experienced this, I would not speak in this way. Lifetimes and lifetimes of sins, weaknesses and infirmities, She will erase when we come to Her with a simple, innocent, dedicated, selfless approach. Even if She would chastise, it is in such a sweet manner that you will know She is your Mother, and your illusions will drop off.
