Whatever is out of rhythm and tune with the Creator, whether it is individuals, nations or systems, it will be scrapped in course of time. This is the way nature works. Those who are out of tune do not see God’s play. The river of immortality is flowing and they do not see it. The promise of salvation is given and they do not hear it. In other words: they do not come in tune with God, with the cosmos, until they surrender completely and unconditionally, until they are, sorry to say: brought to their knees. Unconditional surrender is called “sweet will”; the other is called “a blessing in disguise.” In this dance of creation the Lord and the soul, Purusha and Prakriti, are so intertwined that you do not feel it is two—as if the Creator is dancing with Himself. And in this rhythmic life pattern there is joy.
In any action that we do, whatever the circumstances, when we flow in tune with the Lord and His creation the results will be fantastic. Everything may not happen the way you desire but it will certainly be fulfilling and satisfying. And then, if you are very fortunate, you will discover the whole cosmos, as far as your consciousness can travel, is all one, each aspect flowing in rhythm and tune. In creative living you do not feel afflictions or pain or a sense of separation. You do not miss anything. Everything flows as it should. You are both the doer and the witness, flowing in refreshing newness every moment. This is not emotion or imagination but spirituality, new age consciousness, the kingdom of heaven, the golden age. The cobwebs of the brain are cleared; the nerves are purified and strengthened. Whether you gain or lose, you will be grateful. In this flowing river of life, you can take any amount of water you want. Plunge in—it has that capacity. But do not try to hold on to it. Consciousness held captive becomes unconsciousness. Life kept captive in pools of attachment and greed begins to decay. Dead habits are like stagnant water; there is no joy since there is no movement.
