I always feel that when you go to God, go like a servant, go like a child. There is no other way to go to God. Those who reach God do so through childlike simplicity and innocence; they wash away their superfluous personalities, not only from the outside but from the inside as well. If you do that and you don’t find the Light and Truth and God, yes, blame us. But try to experience. Try to go through it. Surrender your ego unto Him. See whether He is there or not. And see the perfection and justice of creation through you and everyone.
Why do we suffer? Why are we restless? Why do we weep or lament? Is it because others are wrong that I suffer or because I am wrong? Is it because of my ignorance or my selfishness? Is it not my wrong thinking and my wrong doing that causes this suffering? Justice demands that a cause produce an effect; an action must produce a reaction. And if that justice is found, it will be the finding of perfection, nothing else. Justice is impartial and neutral. This can easily be seen once we become childlike before God. He reveals to us everything.

Just tune up with God in you and around you, with nature in you and around you. Up to the circumference of the whole creation is your neighborhood. This union of within and without, which is called yoga, can easily be realized by surrendering the ego. This is childlike simplicity.

Teaching from the basis of eternal Truth, the message of Swami Amar Jyoti's Satsangs (Sanskrit: communion with Truth) is one of deep spiritual unity.  His way is not to espouse a particular creed but to impart a spiritual way of life.   He spent four decades (from 1961-2001) awakening and uplifting countless souls around the world to God-consciousness and disseminating the timeless Truth underlying all traditions and faiths.  Prabhushri Swamiji is the author of several books; over seven hundred of His oral discourses, illuminating the classical path for modern times, are available on CD and audiocassette.
This Satsang is edited from Childlike Simplicity (K-69). The entire released collection of Audio Satsangs of Swami Amar Jyoti are available on CD and Audiocassette. Please see the Audio Satsang Catalog at truthconsciousness.org
