It is amazing that Mother Divine could be synonymous with illusion, but again, She is so real. The Light within illusion will shine in such a way that you will not see a difference between the Light and no light. It is all Light, all Divine. Through that phenomenon you get Absolute Realization. If you approach with devotion, selflessness and childlike simplicity, She reveals Herself in no time. It is not only a rare prayer that will make Her hear you; it needs regular contact, establishing a relationship with Her as a true Mother. Any problem—material, relationships, spiritual, monetary, health—if you latch on to Her, somehow hold on to Her Feet, you will see Her mercy.
      Don’t take Divine Mother as simply an entity by Herself. She is One with the Absolute, the Spirit, Light. Keep your mind on That. And it is very simple in the sense that in many other Yoga practices you have to do much hard work, but in this approach, as a child, you don’t have to do anything. Just give up unto Her and She does everything for you. If you are truly honest and sincere, She really listens. See in this way; be conscious. Then you are not only a channel of God, you are God’s own. You find Oneness in everything. There you and I are not different. Not only “God working through me”—we are He, Aham Brahman Asmi. And there you transcend all time and space conceptions.

       We are living in the Kali Yuga, the Iron Age, a very materialistic age, and if you cannot do austere, complex yogic feats, you can do simple things. Approach God or Divine Mother as a child. Even in this Kali Yuga, everything is Light. You can be awakened. You can raise your consciousness. Pray to Divine Mother to help you, to protect you, to purify you. She does it in no time. And She gives you indications and glimpses: “It is done, don’t worry.” Whatever astrology or psychology may say, She can transcend all these calculations and do the impossible. Just be an innocent child. Be joyful. Find oneness with all. Still you can act and live as a human, social being, very perfectly. Hide nothing. Sit in meditation with a pure heart and pray to God, “Let me be awakened. Make me conscious, as conscious as Thou art. Thou art not only in me but we are the same. To that stage of godliness, please raise me.” Ask for more than your daily bread. Pray, “Let my life be fulfilled. Let me prove my worth as Thou art. Let me come out of this unconsciousness and ignorance.” God and Divine Mother listen. Your potential is more than you know. You are given great opportunities all the time to come out of ignorance. Make use of these opportunities. With a pure heart, like a child, pray, “Lord, let me be awake as Thou art. Let me be One with You.” It is not an abstract idea. It works.
